The Role of Geobags in Environment Protection

Hydraulic structures such as riverbanks, offshore breakwaters, riverbanks, etc. present a critical challenge of erosion due to the abrasive nature of the water. It has a negative impact on the adjoining structures and habitations. While conventional and traditional methods are available to negate the impact of erosion, they’ve proved ineffective. Hence, finding a new solution became imperative. While a range of options existed, their alignment to long-term goals of environment protection, cost-effectiveness, strength, resilience, etc. were important.
